The councilman of Culture and Celebration of San Javier, Silvia Egea, presented today at a press conference scheduling Theater and Music of the House of Culture for the last quarter of the year.
The mayor has indicated that the Department has adequate lighting and the sound of the room to suit the needs of different productions and explained that its features, with a capacity for 150 people and a stage of reduced dimensions, is conducive to staging small shows.
So, the theater and music programming will begin with the Festival of Jazz San Javier, a three performances which starts on October 6, from 22:00, starring Tracy Reid and The Sweet Rhythm Kings.
On October 13, with the same schedule, will be the turn of East Coast trio and the cycle will close on Saturday, October 20, starring Jeff Ferolamon's swing thing, which will pay tribute to Gene Krupa.
The program will continue on November 10 with the concert "The music of JJ Rousseau in the salons of Paris," a performance that is part of the activities organized by the University of Murcia on the occasion of the third centenary of the birth of the Swiss musician and philosopher.
The circus will also be present due to the children's play "Track" by Engrata Theatre Company, which will be performed on November 17 from 18:00.
On Saturday, December 1, at 22:00 hours, the company Murcia The Railway will rise to stage the play "Point Blank," directed by and starring Paco Paco Macia Gascón.
As part of the Christmas program, Dec. 26, the younger guests will enjoy the puppet show-Guyi Guyi of Periphery Theatre in the Plaza of Spain.
Likewise, the early music vocal group Ensemble offer the benefit concert "Echoes of Monteverdi" on Dec. 28 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, and in 2013, on 4 January, the company Titelles d'en Tonet will Culture house the children's play "The New Year's Ghost", from 18:00.
The councilor added that the schedule of the House of Culture theater complete with a free forum that since October, includes screenings every Wednesday from 18:00 and a children's film cycle, also free, which is held the first and third Saturday of every month, from 11:00 am.
Egea also stressed that the price of shows ranging from 2 to 10 euros and that those interested can buy tickets at the House of Culture, from Monday to Saturday from 18:00 to 21:00.
