Workshops, courses, encourage reading, film forum and exhibitions make the cultural agenda (26/10/2012)

The exhibition hall will host in November Cajamurcia exposure fotopoesía "Invisible Women" by local artist and writer Mar Sáez Idoia Arbillaga

The councilman of Culture of the City of San Javier, Silvia Egea, today announced at a press conference the cultural agenda for the 2012-2013 academic year, which includes workshops, courses, activities in the municipal library, film forum and exhibitions.

The mayor explained that the aim of this book is to address the cultural concerns of the residents of the municipality, and to disseminate and promote the various artistic disciplines among people of all ages.

Thus, two workshops will be taught theater, one of them aimed at children aged 6 to 9 years, by Carmen Navarro, and one for youth and adults, led by Juan Pedro Campoy.

The agenda also includes an introductory course to painting, a workshop of experimental techniques, creative writing and reading and automaquillaje.

These courses are organized by the cultural association La Barraca de Federico, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture.

The cultural program is completed by the chess course, by the Mar Menor Chess Club, and the wide range of training at the School of Music, as well as the Municipal School of Folklore.

As for the library, will be done by volunteers a weekly reading promotion aimed at children from 6-12 years and story time, held every Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00 hours.

Also, the house of culture welcomes all projections and film forum Wednesday a child's first and third Saturday of each month from 11:00 am.

The council has also highlighted that 30 November will open the exhibition "Invisible Women", an example of the creative fotopoesía Mar Sáez and Idoia Arbillaga.

ACTIVITIES FOR HALLOWEEN

Silvia Egea also announced that on October 31 the Constitution Square will host a Halloween dance show, by the Kebana ballet, as well as a costume contest for children and a craft workshop, led also to the smallest.
