The association AFEM installed during the day today an information table at the health center of San Pedro del Pinatar, with the aim of providing mental health information.
The campaign "Mental health is also with you" is a national initiative sponsored by the Confederation FEAFES and pursued the eradication of stigma attached to mental disorders through social awareness.
AFEM developed this campaign in the health centers of the district, and this initiative has already been developed in the health center of San Javier and the Hospital Universitario de Los Arcos.
Members of the association provide informational materials which include various recommendations on healthy lifestyles and the prevention of mental disorders.
Volunteer Councillors Alvaro Tárraga, Participation, Silvia Egea, and Police, Jerome Moya, accompanied by the medical director of the Health Center, José María Ojeda visited today this information table in which, moreover, have partners for sale various items made by them.
