The City of San Pedro del Pinatar is celebrating the International Women's Day with various activities and new activities, photography exhibition a talk about equality, and the second edition of the Conference on Women and Sport, in aid of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez and Councilman Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, presented today at a press conference programming International Women's Day, held on Saturday March 8.
Visitation Martinez stressed that programming on the City Council aims to celebrate the achievements over the years by the woman in favor of a more egalitarian society, but also to vindicate those challenges that remain to achieve.

The Councillor for Equality, Guadalupe Garcia, explained that the activities will begin on Wednesday, March 5th at 10:00 am at the Center for Social Services and Women Agustina Santiago, with the "Different and Unequal" talk, by the White Nieves Pérez France, Professor in Physics and Chemistry and Professor of Science, Technology and Society.
The mayor explained that in this talk the difficulties and obstacles still facing women through three microrrelatos be addressed.
