The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez reminded the House that the councilors of his team have been directly and democratically elected by the citizens to assume the responsibilities of local government
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez said yesterday that the full City Council organizational model satisfies the criteria of effectiveness and efficiency in management, and proximity to the city.
Visitation Martinez found the proposal spokesperson UPyD completely release four councilors by large areas of government policy and would professionalize the office of councilor.
In this sense, the mayor said that the citizens who are democratically elected three years ago to the council to assume the management of the local government administration, a direct mandate can not be equated to the formation of the regional or state government as stated UPyD spokesman.
The mayor also said that the beginning of the term the remuneration minoraron regarding previous legislatures, was reduced from four to one staff confidence, and was released only a councilor in addition to the mayor, with the remainder in regime part-time at City Hall.
