The City of San Pedro del Pinatar has increased its tourism services this summer with guided Regional Park Salinas and Arenales and activities on the beaches Tai Chi, Pilates and physiotherapy at Sea views
The Centre for Tourism Initiatives in San Pedro and the Tourist Information Point located in Villananitos have attended during the months of June, July and August for a total of 6,623 visits, 9.34% more than in the same period 2013.
The month with the highest number of arrivals at these tourist information centers was July, with 3,181 visitors, followed by August, 2932, and 510 in June.
Q quality marks Blue Flag and Quality have worn this year on the beaches of La Puntica Villananitos and, thus endorsing that meet stringent environmental standards and services.
One of the major developments this year has been the empowerment zone Villananitos as free internet access, becoming the first beach wifi Region.
The Department of Tourism has also coordinated various activities on the beach, to help improve the health and leisure bathers, a total of 3,379 participants in the months of July and August.
This program included physiotherapy at Sea, on the beach of La Mota, which has had 1,850 participants;
Pilates in El Mojon and Villanaitos, with 860 people;
and Tai Chi La Mota and El Mojon, a total of 669 participants in the months of July and August.
Park Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro is one of the attractions offered by the city, so the council has continued this quarter with guided visits to the area, which was attended by around a hundred people .
HOTEL OCCUPANCY
The hotels in San Pedro del Pinatar is composed of 1,411 seats and the average employment this quarter was 66.26 percent.
The most favorable data was recorded in August, with 79%, while in July stood at around 64.4% and 55.13% on June 1.
