Thousands of faithful and fishermen honor the "Star of the Sea" (16/07/2015)

San Pedro del Pinatar today celebrated one of its greatest days, with a pilgrimage on foot from San Pedro to Lo Pagan where thousands of people have participated, and a maritime procession with hundreds of vessels have escorted the Virgen del Carmen, patron of men of the sea.

The municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar celebrated today one of the most established festivals and tradition, land and sea procession in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, where fishermen and faithful, accompanied by thousands of residents and visitors, transfer their image from San Javier to Lo Pagan.

The festival, which dates back to the eighteenth century in the municipality, has begun 0700 with a target through the streets of San Pedro del Pinatar, followed an hour later by a massive campaign Mass in the Plaza of the Constitution.
