The tent city has gathered more than 150 children from six schools in the municipality who have played several carols to welcome Christmas.
More than 150 students from nursery school No. 1 and colleges The Antolinos, Maspalomas, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Villa Joy, and Los Pinos participated today at the Fourth Meeting of School Holiday, organized by the Department of Education under the Christmas program.
Little Nursery School No 1 have been responsible for opening this event with the interpretation of the carol "Jingle Bells", followed by fourth grade students of Maspalomas with the theme "Santa Claus underpants", and second grade students of Villa Joy, with "Come children."
The song "Happy Naviad want you singing", has been chosen by children in sixth grade of Our Lady of Carmen, while fifth-grade students Los Antolinos have interpreted "Pasodoble child Jesus" and students third year of Los Pinos closed the event with "Santa Claus Underpants".
The Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, has given a gift to teachers and principals of the participating schools and the day ended with a lunch of pastries and chocolate for the little ones.
