"The educational challenges of the Region of Murcia.
Education for equality, citizenship and responsibility "is the title of the course at the University of the Sea to be held at the Casa de la Cultura de San Pedro del Pinatar during the week of 20 to 24 July.
Sociologists from the universities of Murcia, Granada and Barcelona will try to deepen on the state of education in the Murcia Region and their position in national and European level, addressing aspects such as abandonment, school failure or responsibility.
At the same time address the impact of diversity in the educational context, with particular attention to multiculturalism, and discuss projects and educational programs in the educational community to promote knowledge of the principles of effective equality between men and women coeducation .
The course is led by professors from the University of Murcia Juan Carlos Solano Lucas and Maria Dolores Frutos Balibrea, and the registration period will be open until July 13.
It consists of 30 hours, and those in courses will be entitled to three free credits.
